I have worked 4 telstra. Let me tell you they dont give a crap about you the customer. We get trained for 4 weeks plus, all they teach us is how to sell to you and con you. They put there workers on with no real training except how to sell then you wonder why customer service is bad. They treat there employess exactly like they treat there customers...like crap. There expensive and dont care if you stay with them or not because they know they always have the country people becasue well those people have no choice coz telstra own the infastructure. Stay away from them there product is not worth it dont fall for the speed thing becasue no one really ever gets the speeeds offered by telstra.

Hi Me, from New York.

It's been with great interest that I've been watching the launch of QRious.com.au

As a consultant in the QR space - www.cognation.net/profile I agree with you that QR codes have been used in Australia for a long time.

And yes Telstra's rhetoric is way over the top BUT the deployment of QR readers directly onto handsets by a carrier has been a barrier to utilization.

With Telstra getting into this in a big way my advice to clients is leverage and take advantage of this.

Maybe you could post some examples of QR usage in Australia though for those of you that are interested go to www.collins.net.pr/blog and search QR in the top left hand box and you'll find 10 or so articles about the history of QR and it's deployment globally in successful campaigns.

Cheers,
Dean Collins
