KML's
The following page is dedicated to interesting KML files that I have created… Some are created via my Nokia N95, others via my Asus R2H (and now a HTC-Desire). These are more just to show paths around Australia and some other interesting things. There is no guarantee for accuracy e.t.c as they are often raw kml and haven’t been optimised in any way shape or form…… Bookmark this page as I do expect it to grow… but first here is the start and in no particular order…. Of course you will need Google Earth to see this files…
These two may update all by themselves.

user-1543764.kml A Collection of nice photos that I have put up on Panoramio.
New files at the top (and that is new as to when I upload the KMZ, not when I create them.
- htc-bus-train.kmz Trace showing the Bus and train into work. This also shows how the HTC splits the track when it looses signal. Unlike Sports Tracker which fills in the gaps. I prefer the gaps
- n95-htc-samples.kmz.kmz Comparison of the trace from a Nokia n95-8gb and a HTC-Desire (covered in this blog post)
- Puffing_Billy.kmz The fully return journey on Puffing Billy from Gembrook to Belgrave (captured on the N95 in Sports tracker)

- Lake_Mountain_to_Home_june15.kmz – the Trip home from Lake Mountain taking a slightly different way home through the suburbs. You will notice that this trace has a few wig outs where the road goes under some very dense forest. But this trace is better than the trace from my phone so I put this one up.(This trace is via my Asus R2H)
- Toboggan_Run.kmz – Pushing the boundaries of how sad I am… here the is KML of a short Toboggan Run at Lake Mountain. (video on you tube :-)) June 2008 – (captured on the N95 in Sports tracker)
- Flight_from_Adelaide_to_Melbourne.kmz June 2008 – The flight path for an evening flight from Adelaide to Melbourne (captured on the N95 in Sports tracker)

18-05-2008 This is the Capture from my phone (on the way home from Lake Mountain) (see blog post when it is done :-)) This is the drive from the Top of Lake Mountain via Healesville and back to Melbourne. - 07-04-08_Around_the_Bay.kmz
A drive all the way around Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne. This includes the ferry ride that you have to do. We drove From Melbourne, via Avalon Airport, Geelong, the Ferry, Mornington Pen and home again. Took all day, but was a very nice drive. (This trace is via my Asus R2H) - Melbourne_to_Goulburn.kmz
Last christmas we did the drive from Melbourne to Newcastle, stopping at Goulburn overnight. So this is the trip straight up the Hume Highway, including our first trip on the Albury bypass. What a godsend that bit of road is. (This trace is via my Asus R2H) - Goulburn_to_Sydney.kmz
So the next day, was the quick trip up to Sydney. Standard following the freeway into the CBD. At which point the gps started to wig out in the urban environment. (This trace is via my Asus R2H) - Newcastle_to_the_Blue_Mountains.kmz
So to break the trip up we drove via the Blue Mountains and the inland road (the Newell Highway) home. So here is Newcastle to Katoomba. (This trace is via my Asus R2H) - parkes_to_melbourne.kmz
And the last day of the trip was from the Parkes Radio Telescope back to Melbourne. Possible some of the most boring driving. Hours and hours in a straight line. But it does however give you a great sense of the country. (This trace is via my Asus R2H) - Around_Apollo_Bay_Saturday.kmz
jThe drive from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostels, via a place called Shelly Beach. If you have seen Dark City, you will know why I had to go and return from such a place. – Asus R2H - Drive_To_Apollo_Bay.kmz The drive from Melbourne down through Geelong, then along the Great Ocean road to Apollo Bay. (Here is what the trip looks like in 5 min) – Asus R2H
- Walk_along_Cable_Beach.kmz Here is a morning walk along Cable Beach in Broome. Was much further than it seemed as well. And you have to do the walk first thing or the humidity will get you. – Nokia SportsTracker.
- Turtle_Bay_Kayak.kmz And we did the Kayak tour as well around Gantheaume Point (these guys were good and I do recommend that if you go to Broome you do the Kayak Tour (broomeadventure) – Nokia SportsTracker.
- Willie_Creek_Pearls.kmz A trip to Broome is also not complete without a trip to Willie Creek Pearls. An interesting diversion for a few hours. You will need either take the bus tour or higher a 4wd for the day which is what we did. – Nokia SportsTracker.
